I didn't end up getting damp proofing (no fault of Mark's, I decided not to use this method) but Mark was really knowledgable and professional when he came to visit and his quote by far the cheapest compared to other companies I had round to quote. Would definitely recommend Mark and I will use in the future if I change my mind and decide to damp proof!

I hired Mark Stevenson at Mid-UK for a rising damp proofing course in my property. Mark responded to all emails and phonecalls very quickly. He is an easy person to deal with and gives honest and solid advice which is based on years of experience. The work undertaken was completed to an exceptionally high standard with 30 years back insurance guarantee. I desperately needed the work to start ASAP and I can’t thank him enough for accommodating my request and started the work prior to the agreed date (despite his busy schedule ) and completed damp proofing course for the whole ground floor in just 3 days . It is been almost 3 months since the work is completed and I see no sign of damp or any issue concerning his work. Mark completed this work to an excellent standard and quickly. From first contact, coming to quote and completing the work he arrived at agreed times and cleaned up once finished. The finish on the plastering is fantastic, can't wait to get it painted! Thank you. Would recommend and hire again.

The work that he did was very good, while he worked he was very tidy and clean.

I have to say, Mark was brilliant from start to finish on this job. We've had quite a few problems since buying our house, and have really struggled to find reliable tradespeople - Mark is now on our "call again" list! From the initial quote, we were instilled with confidence that Mark knew what work was required, we felt the price was fair, and I was even impressed when calling to ask some follow-up questions, that Mark offered further advice to validate what another party was quoting. We contracted Mark to complete the job, and he was respectful of our property, making sure that the carpet was protected and was so tidy I could barely tell he'd been here (apart from the drying plaster that he'd redone for us)! Such a breath of fresh air after some nightmare contractors, and we'll definitely be getting back in touch to get our kitchen damp-proofed by Mark as well.
