Alex and his team have been outstandingly professional from the very beginning. Since my wife & I decided to go ahead with having extensions, I knew that Alex D architects were right for us. We believe that choosing the right architect is just as important as finding the right builder. We had spoken to others prior to our meeting. We are fastidious with whom we choose to do work for us, but Alex has vast amounts of knowledge and experience, and it shows. We very much felt after the 1st meeting that he and his team were the correct choice. We weren’t wrong. All the daunting thoughts we had were erased. He was not cocky or bigheaded, bullish or arrogant. Like I said we had talked to others prior to meeting Alex. I truly believe his biggest attribute, above all his others, is that he listens to his clients. Yes, he listens, then he advises. To us, that was what is extremely important. His team came around our house to do all measurements, and they too were professional, courteous and hard working. When we first go the plans, I asked Alex a whole host of questions and he answered them all clearly and confidently. The plans were clear, precise, detailed and presented with care & pride. They were not misleading or confusing. Would I use Alex D architects again, my answer would be without doubt, 100%. It has been a real pleasure to work with Alex and his team. Highly professional and dependable, we have really valued his patience and diligence in getting our project to the stage it is at. Indeed, he helped us to see clearly what we could achieve and I’m delighted to say that we are very pleased with the resulting plans, which have now been submitted. Alex and team worked with us on plans for a two story extension on a large detached family house near Moor Park in 2018. I found he and his team to be very amiable, thoroughly professional and extremely patient. Alex D Architects brought a refreshing touch of Mediterranean flair as well as the stamina to ride out the machinations of our local planning authorities obstructions. Alex did propose a beautiful face-lift to our house but he worked tactfully and diplomatically with the local council to produce an end result with minimal financial damage. I do fear that Alex and his team may be wasted on the mediocrity of British architecture but what you will get are easy to understand plans to your exacting requirements of the very highest professional standard at a very reasonable cost.
