Alex and his team did a very good job for us. Initially a detailed survey of our property was carried out, and Alex was creative providing some suggestions and ideas. The whole process has been time consuming, but this was due to the size and complexity of the project (double storey rear, and double storey side extension) and various delays at the council. The drawings were carried out to a very high standard, and amendments were done in appropriate time frames, communication was good and Alex was generally easily reachable on email / the telephone. You might find slightly cheaper architects available who may work alone, but the benefit of hiring Alex is that you will be instructing a reputable professional company and 2-3 people from the team will be assigned on your project. We are glad we hired Alex D Architects, and would definitely use them again. Highly recommended. Building work hopefully to start in the next couple of months…

Alex is very professional and visited our home during the tender process to discuss the scope and get an understanding of our requirements. After agreeing to proceed with his services Alex was helpful in supplying some ideas that were wouldn't have thought about, unfortunately the council were fairly stringent in their approach. However, Alex and his team were more than able to accommodate the changes requested that still achieved the majority of our wish list. Planning was approved in Oct and we've just instructed him to proceed with the Building Regs plans. I would highly recommend Alex to anyone looking to start a domestic extension.

Alex and his team did an outstanding job, professional throughout. Following an on site visit by Alex his team followed up to take laser guided measurements of the entire house. Alex & his team came up with some really thoughtful options in what was a difficult brief. They were very patient with my many alteration requests and were always a step ahead of any thoughts and ideas I tried to bring to the table. It was very daunting prospect finding an architect given the project cost at stake, but I was delighted with Alex Architects and couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Alex has been brilliant. I was apprehensive about using an architect that had not been personally recommended but we have not been disappointed. Alex really listened to what we wanted to achieve and has been very accommodating in all aspects of the design phase. All revisions were done in a timely manner and with attention to detail. Alex is the third architect we have used for various build projects and definitely the best of the lot! Would highly recommend!
