    Landlords EICR Report
    Hired to carry out an EICR through myBuilder in September as a landlord. I originally tried to arrange a date and time for the appointment but David asked for my tenant's details to arrange direct with them. Fair enough. Two appointments arranged with the tenant, two missed appointments followed with no explanation. I followed up with David myself but received no response. I hired a different electrician.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    MEE Limited is sorry about this situation, think there was a breakdown in communication. I arranged a date with Amanda (the client). I had Amanda booked in, she text me to cancel something had came up, i then arranged it for another day, i was busy on that day but i was trying to squeeze her in. I had to call Amanda and explain that i was held up that i would not make it. At the time i called her, to cancel i was on site, so told her id contact her latter to rearrange. Due to the increase in work and phone calls it slipped my mind. However you or the tenant Amanda never contacted me to remind me. Macdonald Edinburgh Electrical Limited apologizes for the inconvenience.

    Fuse box replacement
    We engaged David to rewire, relocate our fusebox, instal new light switches and wall sockets and put ceiling lights into our bathroom. David was very professional throughout and the initial quote he provided in writing was very reasonable. The job took much longer that expected due to problems David found along the way but it was all finished in time to allow other works to commence. David was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable and explained what he was doing along the way. A very hardworking young man who deserves to do very well in his new business venture. We are bringing him back to do a kitchen rewire in a few months time and we have no hesitation in recommending him as an excellent electrician.

    Put new light in showerroom

    Light fitting and new socket required

    Excellent work carried out by David, he fitted new sockets, lights and down lighters for us. Arrived when he said he would, worked around and with other tradesman we had in and completed the job to a very high standard would highly recommend him and will definitely use his service again.

    spotlights, cooker hood, sockets

    I cannot recommend David highly enough. He is an excellent electrician and he is a hard worker- he completed everything I asked and more with a no nonsense approach, he used his initiative and came up with solutions to problems and he also corrected issues that he noticed as he went. He worked all day to compete the job and everything he worked on looks great and works perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. I wish him all the best in his new company, he deserves to be very successful. Thank you David

    Replace Fuse Box with Circuit Breakers
