I shortlisted Lucian for a tiling job because I was impressed by his photos, shortly after shortlisting him he called me enthusiastically to discuss the job. He said his prices start at £50 sqm which I said I was happy with over the phone and even if it is a little more expensive I’m still happy with that price range. I told him that I’d send him a photo after our call which I did and he replied with a quote of £75 per Sqm which is double the average London price and 50% more than his guide of £50. Given that the tiles I’m using are large in size it would not take much time at all, I was surprised but still happy with the price. We confirmed the date we agreed over the phone. the night before he was meant to start the job I messaged him to confirm that he was still attending and he told me that he isn’t interested any more.I had already booked plumbers and electricians to come in after him who I obviously had to cancel which led to a two weeks delay.We discussed another job I had and he said he was confused which is why he wasn’t interested.I put the project on hold after this event and planned to recommence this coming week. I called him today to give him a chance to rectify the inconvenience cause and he was very rude and sarcastic. I’m a property developer and a member of a real estate consortium my tiler has just retired and i was using this small resi job as a trial as we have a new build block of flats due for completion Easter. He missed out on a huge opportunity!

Lucian is a very hard working and trustworthy person. He spent around 6 weeks in our new home ripping down walls, installing a new bathroom, kitchen, flooring etc. The quality of his work is superb, he leaves the place clean at the end of each day, he will not leave any one job finished until he is satisfied, very much a perfectionist. Invoicing was transparent. Can't recommend him highly enough. Tiling in particular is his strongest point. Happy to be a reference.

We hired Lucian for the renovation of our 2 bed, 2 storey Georgian flat and we could not have been happier with our decision. Lucian and his team did everything from levelling and installing parquet flooring on both floors, install a full kitchen and bathroom, and install a roof hatch for our attic space amongst other works. We were especially impressed by the bathroom, it was a gorgeous tiling job and you can tell that Lucian takes immense pride in his work. As well, given the age of our building we also thought they did a fantastic job levelling and soundproofing the floors. Lucian is a great communicator and we highly enjoyed the daily updates and videos he would send us. We would be extremely happy to recommend Lucian for any general contracting work, and in fact we already have done so for our neighbours!

A true craftsman. He tiled a bedroom with dozens of awkward angles, and a corridor with no straight lines, on a floor which wasn't particularly flat and which included a hatch which we needed to keep accessible. Lucian worked so hard to make sure it looked perfect, which it absolutely does. Could not be happier with his work. Really friendly person to have around too.

Lucian installed large 75x75cm tiles in my ground floor (kitchen, dining, hallways, storage rooms). He did a good job, there are a couple of places the finishing could be better, but it was a difficult job especially cutting and laying the large tiles. He's a hard worker and accelerated the job, working around other tradespeople. His quote was higher than other tilers but his work was good quality and his attitude was flexible and transparent. He requested 20% deposit on booking, 40% on start and 40% on completion. Overall we a satisfied and would hire again.

I can highly recommend Lucian. Unlike other tilers I contacted, he asked good, thought-through questions before quoting for the work. His timeframe was accurate. He is courteous, punctual, considerate, and gets on with the job. He kept me informed at every stage. I had no qualms about giving him my keys while I was out. I'm delighted with my new bathroom floor. I told him I was concerned about leaks and he went out of his way to do a thorough job. The work is of a high standard. Will gladly supply a reference for him.

This person is an absolute conman. Please do not use him. He turned up late with a woman and never asked if that was okay. We agreed that the bathroom floor needed leveling. He never did that. He chipped my bath very badly and didn't use the adhesive properly and tiles are not matching as I hoped for. He got aggressive when I wouldn't give him the full amount as I was dissatisfied with his work. He's attitude was disgusting and his work is not professional by any means. I've now had to spend more money correcting what he should have done to begin with. Please be aware as he's profile does not reflect his work.

Lucian is a professional, knowledgeable and friendly tradesman. My family and I were in urgent need of the flooring being laid in our loft and the loft ensuite, as Wickes are currently fitting the bathroom in the ensuite. Lucian came to our rescue. He asked if he could start pretty early and this was fine with the family. His pricing is very fair. He was honest and straight forward. My family and I are very pleased with this professionally delivered job. We just need to paint the room now.. We have already asked for quotes for other rooms in the house.
