Ken contacted very promptly and arrived when he said he would. He assessed the job and pointed out that a new trapdoor may be needed and phoned shortly after to arrange the date the work would be done. As promised the two man team arrived promptly and got on with the task whilst keeping us informed of any small modifications needed. They worked non stop until the job was done. Ken is, in my experience, a very rare breed. He is always responsive, very open and up front, the work he and guys did was exceptional and he always stuck to the cost estimates he provided. Despite a few twists and turns with the work along the way (almost inevitable due to the age of the property) nothing was ever an issue, and Ken simply took care of it. Very important when trying to coordinate the work from a distance.
