I found McGowan on this website with very good reviews, so I hired him to sort out my chimney as I had a roof leak . He came round and gave me a good quote, he took pictures and explain what he will do. When the weather was favourable, he came and did the roof. It's been just over 2 weeks now, I have not had a leak. He also offered 12 months warranty, which gave me a peace of mind. He was friendly and well spoken. I will definitely recommend him.

Michael did a very good job. I chose because he seemed to plan for any eventuality (having scaffolding made his quote higher but I felt it covered any problems). From arriving to completion was fairly quick and he kept me informed what was happening. When complete they cleaned up. I am happy with the window and the work.

Polite, explained everything he was doing, cleaned up each day. Job did take longer than anticipated, mainly due to weather. Would recommend.

I thought my chimney was falling apart after mortar seemed to be raining down from above. Michael came to have a look, give me a quote and informed me that the chimney wasn't as bad as I thought and didn't need rebuilding, much to my relief. He quoted for the job and was the most competitive of the three. Because of the weather, I was put back a couple of times but needing a roof repair in the middle of Winter, you can't expect anything else. At my request, he took before and after photos. He's made a really neat job, very tidy and he did a couple of little jobs whilst he was up there, not originally quoted for. So he did everything I asked for and a bit more. Would definitely recommend.
