J R Contractors is Highly Recommended. I hired Jamie to do some general roof repairs / storm damage, whilst completing the work he found that the roof tiles had been incorrectly laid and water had been leaking on to the roof battens causing them to rot. Jamie gave me two short term repair options or the roof retiled, as the roof was 55 years old I took Jamie’s advice and had the roof retiled. I found Jamie and his workers to be hardworking, meticulous, polite and very amenable; Jamie kept me fully informed about what was happening, always turned up when he said and on time, cleared away all debris and left the site clean and tidy. I have had some very bad experiences regarding builders and shoddy workmanship; consequently I am very sceptical and not easily pleased. I could not fault Jamie’s work in any way; in fact I think he is fussier than me? Jamie’s may not be the cheapest quote you get, but you generally find in life “you get what you pay for” and I would recommend J R Contractors ever time, in fact I am just about to give Jamie some further work. Jamie has now completed the additional work, covering the gap between mine and next doors house. Again could not fault Jamie’s work at all. Would 120% recommend.

Jamie checked storm damage within a few hours and repaired it within 24 hours. Recommended service.

Jamie arrived on the day we arranged (Within a week of quoting). All work discussed has been carried out and debris removed from site. I would recommend this builder to undertake roofing / building work.

Turned up on time. Was friendly and honest. Took a picture to show me what needed doing and completed the job at a fair price. Would recommend and use again.

He arrived when he said he would, was professional, explained all the options open to me and then kept me apprised of each stage of the work. When he left the site, it was as clean as he found it.
