Joel, did an excellent job of our garage foundations. Very conscientious and thorough worker. Laying blocks from concrete foundation, bricks to oversite and damp course ready for our Oak frame. Highly recommended.

Well... what can we say about Joel Ashby 'the builder' If you need a builder who is fair, helpful, extremely hard working and a perfectionist at his trade.... he's your man. When we were approaching that scary decision of who we were going to get to extend our home, it's fair to say we were VERY apprehensive (especially with all the bad press about dodgy builders) but we checked out mybuilder.com and Joel came in to our lives !! He made us feel at ease, helped us to understand what was needed, when it was needed and why it was needed. He put us in touch with other trades that we needed (all fab blokes). He took the burden off us with contacting Building Regulations as and when they were needed on site. Joel helped our build experience be painless. So to any scared, apprehensive people out there looking to improve or extend their home, you couldn't choose a better person for the Job. Joel - thank you for what you did, you did an amazing job. We recently put an advert on mybuilder.com as we needed a window cut in initially and to get a quote for further work in the future. Joel replied to the advert to say that he would be happy to help us with this. After reading lots of positive reviews about Joel himself and his work we asked him to do the job. Joel was very easy to contact and nothing ever seemed like it was too much trouble as I needed to call him for some advice on a couple of occasions. He was punctual, tidy and showed pride in his work. You could tell he wanted to make sure things were done to the highest standards. We also found Joel to be very considerate. Making a lot of noise was unavoidable with the job he was doing for us but bearing in mind we had our 2 year old daughter in the house Joel would pre-warn us if there was going to be any particularly loud noise coming up. We would definitely be interested in using Joel again.

Very good finish clearly knows his trade! Any sub contractors he used were of top quality. Any problems or minor mishaps were quickly dealt with. Happy with the end result and will use them again for future projects.

Good communication with Joel, Joel and Ash completed the work to a high standard making a tired wall look refreshed with a new lease of life. Good price and left the area very tidy. Will keep his number for future, a good service from a good guy! Me and Michelle were well chuffed with the wall. Thanks again Wayne.
