Joel gave a nice sensible quote. To save money he was happy to clean the bricks up ready to rebuild after someone drove into it. He would have supplied new if I had wanted it that way. He did a good job putting back the curved wall and pillar as it was before the accident occurred and it matched in well with existing wall. Always in contact as to when he was coming to the property, when the start date might be, a minor hold up due to the British weather but again he gave another date he would attend. Very happy with the work carried out. I would recommend and use again.

Joel was superb went out of his way to find bricks that match . Excellent job done After he finished the job he made sure he cleaned and left the place spotless I Would highly recommend Joel To anyone AT A VERY COMPETIVE PRICE.

Well just amazing! Joel is an incredible worker, he never stopped until he completed the job, he is understanding as to what is required, gives really good advice, he certainly knows his trade, the work he has done for me on my unsightly wall has transformed my world, as it was a constant eye sore for many years. Very pleased with Joel's work. He is a friendly person, very efficient. Done a very good job and washed down the area to leave everything clean and tidy. Above all his quote was also very reasonable.

We hired Joel to complete our extension starting April 2021 from first visit Joel was friendly,polite and honest. His quote was detailed well and listed what was included and what wasn't .Compared to other quotes we found this very reassuring and that we knew where we stood. We had a signed contract and payment plan and Joel's was always discussing what was up next and when payment was due.We always found Joel to be transparent and communicate well with us on WhatsApp, text and email and we always knew what things would be happening that week etc. Recenty there has been alot of price increases and Joel said from the off set that this could be the case, and always discussed with us extras from official supplier increases. Joel himself is a fantastic bricklayer and very quick ! He puts in full days and is a grafter for sure if he isn't with you a full day there is a reason like the screed is setting etc. Other trades that he used were all local people again something we valued. Posted a quote at the end of 2019 to have a rear extension done on my property and Joel contacted me soon after, I arranged a date and time for him to come over and take a look at the work which we wanted to have done. Joel was on time and for the time he was here gave us an accurate quote which he then backed up with via email when we decided to hire him for the job. Myself and Joel communicated via text, email, phone calls and WhatsApp and he sent over a schedule of works and payment plan detailing the amounts to be paid at each stage of the build completion, which was backed up with a receipt when paid, which I think everyone worries about when hiring a builder. Throughout the build, Joel showed his knowledge of the building trade and was on site when he said he would and communicated if he would not be there for any reason. The initial build went up reasonably quick and the work was of the highest standard, we even asked if he could lay a patio which we had not discussed previously and Joel done a fantastic job of this as well. Joel knows and uses his contacts within the building trade he knows well and trusts to complete the electrics, plastering, rendering, roofing and finishing flooring 2nd fix etc and again are well pleased with the finish everyone produced. So, if you are looking for a builder who knows the trade, who will discuss the different stages of the build and answer any questions you have, who is totally professional, then you need to be calling Joel.

Joel was fantastic and the work started on time and finished promptly. It was a pleasure to have Joel on site and the work was of the highest level. He was always willing to go that little bit extra to ensure the quality of the job and was very flexible and accommodating. We are delighted with the finished extension, and Joel was able to call upon other local trades to ensure all the work was finished and to an extremely high standard. I would definitely recommend Joel and are thinking of other possible projects he could do for us in the future.

Joel recently completed an 11x8m single storey extension to our bungalow. From the first contact we had, Joel was incredibly helpful and responsive. He produced a very clear quotation and sensible schedule to deal with the payment aspect. Joel and Lawrence worked exceptionally to complete the build and they have done an excellent job. We would have no hesitation in recommending JK Brickwork and plan on using them for additional work in the future.
