I am unable to write a positive review as I am currently having to take this gentleman to court for expenses due to damage caused. It is not accidental damage unfortunately the gentleman does not have the skills to be advertising himself as a painter and decorator as during his first day at my property he painted two composite doors in Dulux wood undercoat paint, firstly I did not require my PVC/Plastic doors painting although what concerns me the most was when questioned why he had he believed they were wooden doors therefore part of my quote to paint all the woodwork, he then went on to advise that once he realised they weren't wooden he had to google how to paint PVC which then led him to sand my doors down and paint. Due to this and his general work of not filling and sanding, messy, paint splattered and dried all over my window frames and floor, wooden door strip to which I have had to purchase another and his general lack of skill for the job I had to ask him to leave my property. He initially agreed to pay for the mistake of painting my composite doors but unfortunately once I provided him the price to ensure these were rectified back to the same condition they were in previously i.e. I would be able to wash them down and paint would not begin to flake off etc he has decided it will be at my own expense. Painting PVC is a skilled and expensive job, they require professional preparation and specialist paint. He also does not have any insurance to cover such a mistake.
