Illingworth Building Services reviews (71)

Andrew and the team had done a brilliant job that went smooth from start to finish. The boys left no mess once done every day, we’re very helpful in their advice given and the work was carried out in a professional manner. I couldn’t recommend these guys any more! Thanks so much.

Very good workmen. Nothing to much trouble and would definetley recommend them and would happily use them again myself

Excellent service did the job as quoted. The job was completed to a very high standard. All of the crew were very polite and left the surrounding areas cleaner than when they started. I would highly recommend Andrew and his crew.

Andrew and his team took a supporting wall down in our kitchen. From the very first meeting I knew that we made the right choice in builder. Andy and his team are absolutely amazing. Not only do they do the work with the least disruption possible but they are just so helpful, professional and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. I will always use them for any further work and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Andy, Polite Mike, Jo and Derek, we are very grateful to you all. Best Regards Caroline

Brilliant from start to finish. Highly recommend Andrew and his team!

WOW. These guys are amazing. Andrew, Darren and the whole team done a fantastic job with removing our non load bearing wall and making good all of the walls. Also removed a door frame, created a stud wall and plastered to a smooth finish. I was slightly cautious using mybuilder to find a tradesman to complete the job, but I am extremely luck to have had Illingworth Building Services apply to quote for the job. Andrew was quick to respond to my advert and provided me with a competitive quote within 30 minutes of the site visit. Work scheduled a fortnight after. No payments were requested upfront and paying the bill after was extremely easy via BACS after the job was completed. The whole team completed the job in less than a day, very clean and tidy with minimal disruption to the family home occupants. Very trustworthy as left the house several times, but they continued to work hard on the job, each time I returned being stunned with the transformation in progress. All rubble and debris was removed from the house during and after the job. The room was left in a clean and tidy state ready to start decorating. We had an additional job of removing a door/door frame and building a stud wall to close the gap and also some additional plastering. All top notch workmanship and we are very, very happy with the results and the whole experience thanks to Illingworth Building Services. I would recommend to everyone and I will use again for sure.

From the first meeting with Andrew we knew that he was the builder we needed to complete our knock through. He was charismatic and no nonsense, promising to complete the job in days rather than weeks, that we had been quoted by others, and the quote was less than we had thought. Andrew and his team were incredible and we would recommend them to anyone, they swooped in and left no mess. The standard of work is brilliant and he even completed some extra jobs including building control, plastering and disposing of all mess. Andrew and his team were absolutely faultless from beginning to end. 100% recommend.

Andrew, Darren and the team were great from start to finish. They knew exactly what I wanted and listened to my requests and also suggested alternatives and gave me ideas on how to make the overall job look better than I originally imagined. Andrew stuck to his original quotes and kept me fully informed on any extra costs as the job went along. I’d hire Andrew and his team anytime.

Wow what brilliant job. The team was on time every day the site was left clean and all debris cleared daily. I was informed on the day of what works was happening on the day. Again a brilliant experience. Quality service and value. Thanks Andy and team. 👍

Andrew, Darren, Mike and Joe....What a dream team! I posted the job on Monday and Andrew came to give me a quote on Tuesday afternoon, started the job Thursday and by end of day Friday was finished! Not only did they finish the plastering I had asked them for they had time left to latex my floor last minute! Nothing was to much for these guys they were absolutely superb and my kitchen knock through is looking incredible. What they completed in 2 days was what others had quoted me over a weeks work! I thought they sounded to good to be true......how wrong I was! Andrew and Darren clearly have a wealth of experience, they are very efficient and professional at what they do!
