I first met Matt when our heating failed, I presumed to a pump failure. He discovered that the fault was elsewhere and that the pump was functioning normally. He also established that the water cylinder was leaking and due to its age recommended replacement. For an encore he was able to replace the faulty flush mechanism on the toilet!
During all of this work he displayed his professional expertise throughout, communicating clearly in layman’s language what the problem was, how he could best deal with it and followed through in an extremely manner.
When the water cylinder and parts were available, he attended and drained the heating circulation, removed the old cylinder, prepared the area for the new cylinder and installed and fitted this new cylinder, refilled the heating system, bled radiators and ensured that the heating circulation was functioning as it should. Matt also cleaned up after his work, making it a point to leave the area as he found it but invariably leaving it cleaner than before!
As always he was thorough and professional and always ensured that I was clearly informed of progress. I have been really impressed throughout by his consistent professionalism, his ability to clearly explain complex technical issues and keeping one informed of progress.
I will have no hesitation in recommending him highly to colleagues and friends and would of course contact him should any other problems arise in future.
