    Job done satisfactory but he had to much going on so job took a bit longer than quoted Adam came a cross as a good worker and very friendly knew his job Would recommend him

    Looking for a builder to remove a wall

    Adam did a fantastic job for us, communication and quality of work was excellent. We would highly recommend him and would approach him for any future work required.

    Confirmation of load bearing wall

    Adam agreed to come & look at a job for me, quite a distance away, knowing there wouldn't be any work for him at the end of it as I just wanted a second opinion. He only charged £20 to cover petrol & gave us some really helpful advice. A pleasant helpful guy - would definitely go back to him if we have a suitable job needs doing. Thank you!

    Indoor renovation

    Excellent work done at a reasonable price, adam turned up when he said he would, did the work to a high standard, very pleased with the outcome and would definitely hire him again

    Removal of wall

    Please be very careful if you employ this builder.. my life has been a nightmare since employing this man.. I did pay him in advance £4456 after he convinced me he was ordering byfolding doors & window .. the window & door as never materialised .. also my outside brick work remains unfinished after Adam making arrangements to send Builder to my house, the builders never turned up.!!. on the first day Adam was due to start work 26th June he didn’t turn up.. this was also the day my brother was taken into St Gemma hospice dying of cancer , I manage to get in touch with Adam in the late afternoon .. the excuse he gave me was he had taken sleeping tablets & had slept in!! Because I was trying to be with my brother I did believe this man!! Adam was always fully aware my brother was in the hospice I give him a house key .. Adam lost the key & he never apologised I have had to have my door locked changed .. my brother died in the middle of all of this Adam is also aware of this !! Adam promised he would return £750 to me by the 3rd september & also send someone to finish the outside brick work.. this has not happened I am now having to pursue a claim against him through the small claims court & I am also writing to trading standard so they are aware of this company

    Although I think this feedback is unfair and far from the truth I appreciate it was an difficult time. I asked Karen if we could put the job back due to the current job we were on asked for extras and I prefer to complete one job before starting another, her exact words were yes whenever your ready I have my brother to worry about. The same night I got a text saying she expects us there tomorrow and was enraged that I said I can’t now because of what we had agreed. Following this she said she didn’t have the money so would have to pay on her credit card. This is the reason I asked for the money up front because this was a red flag for me. She was convinced we was trying to con her from this point and became a very difficult customer constantly changed her mind and creating delays. We decided to stop the job and return her money which My builder can confirm I have done. In my other reviews there are comments like Best builder I’ve met in 25 years, absolute dream team, polite professional, ect. I also have a perfect score on a similar site. I admit that this situation could have been handled better on both sides and wish her all the best in the future.

    Remove Internal Load bearing Wall

    Adam & his team did a fantastic job even though the weather was really against us. He was polite and informative all through the build, and completed a first class job eithin the budget, as agreed. I would definitely use him again. Thanks Adam.

    Cellar wall removal and replace with RSJ

    Wall was knocked out and RSJ fit in half a day. Really easy to get along with Adam and the team. All work passed by Council first time. I would definitely use Guardian Developments again.
