Gavin altered a quite complicated piece of furniture, put up some shelves (which are now housing a lot of heavy books) and made some cellar stairs for us. The work all looks great, very sturdy and was completed on time and within budget. Very pleased with the outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Gavin and will definitely use him again myself.

Gavin was excellent! He was extremely flexible when it came to the design and building of my shelves and was willing to work with me to achieve the best results. He had really good advice on what would be the best workable solution. He was also punctual, trustworthy and even vacuumed the flat after he finished at the end of every day. I am very happy with the work he has done for me and I cannot recommend him highly enough!

Gavin did a great job making and fitting my living room and bedroom shelves and fixing my wardrobe. Jo did a good job painting too. I would recommend them as they were really efficient,friendly and tidy, what more could I ask for! Thanks so much.

I had a very specific idea of what I wanted to do with the storage space and Gavin understood the request from the start. He talked through lots of ideas constructively and provided a competitive quote. Gavin arrived on time and he was entirely respectful of my home and left the working area clean and tidy during and after the job. I am impressed by the quality of work done and the amount of great storage space I now have. Gavin used his initiative but also checked with me where a choice was involved. The job was finished very nicely indeed and I had total peace of mind throughout the project. Gavin and his colleague Joes, who has overseen the painting work, are both really nice guys. Could not recommend the enough and will certainly be colling them back for more work.

Gavin was very pleasant to deal with and though the job was slightly different to what we both thought, he found a solution to fix the problem. I would highly recommend him and would use his services again.

Mr. Shaw did an excellent job at a competitive cost - I love my 2 new wardrobes and mostly my new pretty bench that he made exactly as I wanted it! I would definitely recommend Mr. Shaw for any carpenter work!

I am pleased with our new shelves, which are fitted very securely. Gavin also fixed some cupboard doors that weren't closing properly and refitted a kitchen door with new hinges and a kitchen drawer front and our garden gate within the same quote (which included materials) and also noticed some missing screws in a drawer carcass which he fitted (thanks!). I am happy to recommend him.

I was pleased that Gavin didn't harp on the problems, but instead found a way around them while sticking to my budget. Nothing was a drama. I was confident that he understood what I wanted from the job, and also that he would ask anything if he needed to. I had total peace of mind throughout the project.
