I employed this person and paid £180, for his work that didn't solve the leak into my sons bedroom. I contacted him to complain and the same roofer visited again and quoted a further £150 which i refused to pay as id paid for the leak to be fixed once! but agreed to smaller job quoted another £60 for ridge tiles to be sorted, which i didn't pay in the end, as the leak was still not fixed.
I had to save up as I'm a single parent and employ another roofer who said the work completed previously was below par, there were gaps left, he could see into the loft, tiles weren't cut down to fit properly and the holes where the nails should be were also letting in the wet. The 2nd job i had been quoted £60 for wasn't required as the ridge tiles overlap, and all the cement he had used had washed out.
Another £80 paid to this new competent roofer who sorted the original problem!
Luckily I've now moved from this property so feel that i can warn other potential customers to be aware, and advise them not to pay a penny until you know the job has solved the problem!
