Donovan would not honor this and instead just insisted that he heard something different. - The standard of work was poor i.e. tiles missing in some areas, edge strips cut badly and not to the correct size, edge strips missing in some areas, adhesive on walls, grout on tiles. - No attempt was made to clean tiles after having grouted, so they now look a complete mess. Donovan doesn't believe it is part of the tiling job to leave the tiles free from grout and residue, leaving the client the task of correcting this. I don't like to give negative feedback but the final straw was that, once we managed to get Donovan back to correct the problems and remove the larger patches of grout that he had left on the tiles, he came to the property and was raising his voice to my wife and acting in a threatening manner. I wish I had been there to deal with the situation but one of the other tradesmen stepped in and asked him to calm down. My wife was left feeling very unsafe and upset about the whole episode. I therefore would never use Donovan again or recommend him to anyone.Answer from tradesperson:
You said tiles missing on some areas, edge sttip missing there, etc. This doesnt sound like me or a tiler with so much experience and good feedbacks. You are just jealous and bad minded and exacerratibg your feedback because your mind is small you are having problems in your relationship and want to bring it on me. Poor sud
