Dermot came around to view job and gave a quote. Build new under stairs storage and did an excellent job. Would highly recommend. Excellent carpentry services.

We contacted Dermot for a quote on various woodwork jobs around our home: building a living room bookcase, replacing a floorboard and putting up a door. He was speedy to reply and came to see us the very next day. Dermot is personable, professional and clearly very knowledgeable and experienced. He understood right away what we were looking for, and emailed through some really impressive examples of his past work to help us decide. We're still planning on having Dermot build our shelves, just temporarily on hold, but in the meantime he has put up a kitchen door for us and fixed a drawer. The door frame was slightly wider than the door we ordered (our fault not his!), so Dermot adjusted the frame and now we're none the wiser! We highly recommend Dermot. The price he charged was fair, the job was well done, and he's top of our list for any future carpentry/woodwork jobs.

Dermot is very professional. His job is beautifully done and on time. He cleans after the job to leave things nice and tidy. The charge is very reasonable as well. Can't recommend more. Kitty cats have all been well pleased.

I found Dermot on mybuilder and was really impressed with the positive feedback. I called him straight away and he was extremely pleasant to talk to. I sent him a picture of the wardrobes I wanted and he responded very promptly with a quote and availability. He came over the same day to take measurements. I had a tight deadline as I was having a baby in 2 weeks and he made every effort to accommodate me as quickly as possible. He was ver creative with his building and I have to say, extremely neat. The quality of his work is excellent and we are very happy with the built in angled wardrobes and windows seat he built in 4 days from start to finish! Without a doubt one of the most creative and down to earth carpenters I've had the joy of working with.

Dermot came and completed the requested job today. I could not be happier with the result. It looks fantastic! The walls were uneven which made the job more difficult but that was not a problem for Dermot. He is a true professional and a perfectionist who wanted to complete the job to the best possible standard. Dermot is a credit to his trade.

happy to have hired Dermot to fit my new front door. it was a sizeable task: two new locks, four glass panels, deadbolts, rain guards, letterbox, door numbers. he handled everything with meticulous care. i appreciated that he took the time to come to inspect the job ahead of time and he was always prompt and friendly throughout. so pleased have asked him to come back to rebuild a shed door which snapped off.

Very pleasant, quickly attended to assess, agreed reasonable price and I agreed to wait but his van broke down and couldn't attend, as had no alternative vehicle. It's a shame.

We would definitely hire Dermot for future work and recommend him highly. After a slight glitch with dates getting the job booked in (not his fault) Dermot completed the work in record time (including working Saturday to get the job done). The finished shelves and cupboards are exactly what we wanted. The whole job was done very considerately for our small flat. Thank you.
