    Parking space rebuild

    Les did a very good job for the primary work of the parking space but the additional jobs were not completely done as instructed. This may be because I was offsite and only have a tenant at the property and I was not able to be onsire to ensure clear communications with the builder. Generally happy with the parking space and would recommend Les Toller but owners must be onsite to ensure work is clearly specified for both parties.

    Answer from tradesperson:

    Mrs Coleman resides overseas. I have been a tradesman for in excess of 40 years and clients have handed me their keys to their properties and have left knowing that the work will be carried out to their full spec and I believe that other feedback on my profile states this. I did advise Mybuilder that I was not sure I wanted the job. I squeezed the job in to help Mrs Coleman. The spec given would have been ok if other issues were not in the way (a) budget and (b) to have dealt with the wall would have opened a can of worms and the budget was not there. The project was therefore adjusted to suit. and all were advised of this The project was completed on time and is now safer.

    victorian tiling and stone step

    Les did an an excellent job on the entrance way to my Edwardian house. He excavated and removed the old subfloor, laid new concrete, screed and floor leveller, supplied and fitted a new portland stone step and laid new victorian tiles. He did the work on time and on budget, kept us informed throughout and cleared away all the rubbish. I would recommend him to anyone who appreciates high quality work. Mr Whittaker Woodford Green

    Landscaping back garden

    I can highly recommend Les, he is a mind full of knowledge since he had been in the business so long and ever so helpful he helped us with the design layout of our garden, everything from choosing the patio slabs to the lay out of the garden since we had no idea, Also we received a detailed quote He provided an excellent service throughout the works from laying the patio to laying my new lawn, he was punctual, clean, tidy, very professional and carried out the works to a very high standard. when he arrived i had a waste land for a garden and the day he left i have a wonderful garden that i will enjoy for years to come. Les is very friendly and was wonderful with my puppy. In short I will definitely use Les again and have kept Les's number for future work.

    Took up existing tiled floor and old adhesive, relaid screed and put down a new travertine floor. I had a week to do with job as the client was away on holiday. The project cost (including labour) was £5,000 the travertine cost was £3,000. The end result, the client is very happy. The client has now asked me to do other general building works within his house.
