Very happy. I was contacted promptly after advertising my job and within an hour they came out, inspected the job and quoted me a very reasonable price. I accepted and they came and completed the job within the day. They were polite, professional and completed the job to a high standard. I would definitely recommend.Review from mrs_fardell, Cottingham mrs_fardell, Cottingham

Review left on 27 Aug 2021Rating: 1 out of 5(Updated on 28 Aug 2021)Repointing brickwork
I needed to repoint about 20 or 25 bricks at the most the guy came down and told me he will only do the full wall for the price of £850.00 With the excuse that the wall may fall down if it doesn't do the full wall and I will only be coming back to him to claim damages must have thought that was made of money or maybe was imagining that there was a mug written on my forehead for that price I might as well go and get a grinder for 50 quid with a diamond disc and do it myself. work it out for yourselfs guysAnswer from tradesperson:
We arranged to meet at 8.30 in the morning I arrived no answer you returned my call 10.30 to rearrange so I called back 5.30. The full back of the house needed repointing and grinding out as the other trades men made a shoddy job of it - not 25 bricks. For the job quoted please see a breakdown on how we work our prices on following costs - tower scaffolding (it’s not possible to stand on ladders at height and use a grinder), the cost of the scaffolding grinders, cement, buckets, travel trowels, 2 days labour for 2 men and waste disposed of. The workmen at DEN Roofing are very experienced, we work off reputation as you will see from previous reviews. We price our jobs as cheaply as possible however we offer a 5* service. Thank you for posting this bad review as this given DEN Roofing the opportunity to answer to your complaint however we have not completed any works for you, this could have been dealt with via email, Call etc. Regards, David - Owner- DEN Roofing
