Charged over six hundred quid for the job which they never completed. D.E.N spent only 2 hours on the job and left without completion then demanded full payment or they undo their work leaving the propert in a worse state that before during very wet weather. I do not recommend these people who are very dodgy and use surreptitious means to get money out of you. We agreed initially on that they remove all old fascia and soffits, put new felt just above window and they just came and did not remove all the timber, instead a quick job and threats thereafter....DO NOT TRUST!Answer from tradesperson:
£620 is a reasonable price for work that was completed which was a new felt bay, reboarding , re alining gutters, front gutters cleaned out and all waste disposed of. There are no soffits on the property just a fascia board fixed to wall. As the property was two story the price also included a tower scaffolding rig. We was at the property for the majority of the day. Full payment was expected as this is a service, not a free service. Your landlord refused to pay on completion from your feedback but was then sent images and sent payment over. We would not leave a property in a worse state then it was before repair however if no payment was made we would remove our materials that we purchased if we did not receive payment within 28 days. We are a very small company who need customers to pay when agreed. The property has revived no call backs which means that the leaking has stopped. I am sorry your experience with D.E.N Roofing has not been to your standards however work seems to be to your landlords standards.

David came round a couple days after calling him for a quote. Spent time sizing up options and prices and talking me through them, all seemed reasonable. Once work was agreed he got his guys round as soon as weather allowed and completed the work in an afternoon. Area was left clean and tidy. I had also asked the guys to check our roof over generally, and they gave me some additional jobs that may need doing come spring. David, and his team of five, came as agreed, got on with the job and completed to schedule. Being December, we were lucky with the weather. Our roof maintenance project was completed to our satisfaction and we have a 10 year guarantee on the parts and associated tasks. While it was cold, we supplied cups of hot tea, and the friendly team got on with their tasks as required. We would certainly recommend D.E.N.
