    I found Dereck to be knowledgeable in regard to the job . He quoted a fair price for the work and could do it quickly too . I learned that he does this type of work solely and therefore believe he is good at his trade . He has been trading for many years and would not do so if he were no good . His feedback tells a story and one I can support too . He turned up on time, worked hard and completed the job on time and cleaned up well afterwards . I am very pleased with the result of his efforts and would recommend him to family and friends . All round 10 / 10

    House pointing - 3 walls
    Hi Dean, Im happy with the work completed at 9 Worcester Street Rochdale 0L11 3QE. Please could you send an email to verify payment of work completed. There are also a few small jobs need fixing at the property and I would be grateful if these jobs could be completed in 2 weeks . Thank You Susan Wild.     Remedial brickwork on end of terrace property
    The work was acceptable but I would never use them again. I was repeatedly harassed by email and telephone for payment as soon as the work was completed - even though he knew that I would need to check the work a couple of days after the planned date before payment (I live over 50 miles away from the property).

    Answer from tradesperson:

    First off this woman is a complete liar, I finished the job on a Wednesday and called her to let her know job was complete. She constantly ignored my calls until the following Sunday so then I rang off a different phone and she answered straight away. This phone call was simply to ask her email address so I could send invoice. When I finally got hold of her she spoke to me like she was a school teacher and I was a year 7 pupil. I explained that I needed to know her email address as she wanted it sending to a completely different name, she told me I would get paid when she feels like checking the work, bare in mind this lady lives over 50 miles away. All of my ratings speak for themselves and it's a shame that 1 person can change that by putting a false missleading review.

    Repoint back wall
    Hired Deanway to repoint the back of our house above the conservatory and garage. Derrick was great from start to finish. Came round to give a quote quickly, gave us a fair price and could start the job within the week. Wasn't concerned about the difficult access and did the job with his own scaffold when everyone else wanted external scaffolding company to do it. Left the garden tidy and didn't need anyone in when the work was being done. Called me at the end of each day to update on progress. Would definitely recommend.

    Really good job done by Derrick. More than happy with the result . On time every time and got a tricky job done within the time he said. Good price an quality work. I would definitely recommend.

    Repointing
    Derrick and his his team repointed the whole of my house- a 1930’s semi. He gave me a speedy and competitive quote and explained in detail what needed doing and why. The work was carried out in a very professional manner- Derrick left my house/ outside area tidy and cleaned up every night even though it’s a very messy job- which I relieved about! My neighbours were also happy with the lack of mess which was great. My house was also chemically cleaned-it now looks 40 years younger! I am extremely happy with the quality of work, the communication and overall professionalism of Derrick and his team and would recommended him to anyone of my friends or colleagues. Thanks!
