I posted a job to fix a staircase in my town house. The bottom stair had almost collapsed and every other stair tread creaked alarmingly. As there was only access from above, it was going to be a "hard to fix" job - so very few Tradesmen were interested, despite me contacting a number and asking for a quote. However Chris's speciality is stairs and he contacted me to request the work as he was confident that he had a solution. Chris was completely professional from the start - I could see that from the way he contacted me, asked for photos in advance and got to really understood the issues before he travelled. He then turned up on time, and spent 7 hours shoring up the faulty steps and screwing / gluing all steps and risers in place. He did a fabulous job and none of the steps creak anymore! I am 100% satisfied with his work. I would absolutely recommend Chris to you - he probably isn't the cheapest, but he is a staircase specialist and will fix your problems whatever they are. Its a fixed price job for the work, parts and travel. On top of this, Chris is a real nice guy and we had a good chat during his visit. 100% recommended!

I hired Chris to sort a staircase out in my house where my daughter lives. As I live abroad I've not seen the work but the report is that the stairs are good and only a minor squeak compared to the bottom two almost collapsing so good job done! Carpet not fitted back as tightly as it was is the only downside. I would recommend Chris as he was great in responding and corresponding with me.

I must apologise to Chris as he completed this job last year and I completely forgot to leave feedback. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chris great communication from the start and he's a lovely guy. Ours is a 3 storey Victorian townhouse and he completely renovated our horrendously squeaky and unsafe staircase. He explained what he was doing and our staircase no longer squeaks and groans! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I used Chris 6 months+ ago to fix my (very) squeaky staircase. Literally every single step made a noise, which was over and above an everyday squeak. I can honestly say that not one of them makes the slightest noise now. Thanks so much Chris I am over the moon :)

I am so impressed with the work Chris recently completed on my very unstable stairs. They are now completely stable and I am a little in awe at the difference! Chris was incredibly efficient with time and very tidy. Not a speck of sawdust to be seen. Highly recommended!
