Completed job in December, constant issues, kept promising to come back, didn’t come back till august, did awful job to try and rectify problems, now i have to get someone else in to sort it, had to beg for months before finally getting installation certificate, lied to about staff, really bad cowboy company

My log burner was serviced, job well done and worker very polite and considerate. The three stars is only because I am still waiting to receive the HETAS certificate as promised. It’s been over three weeks now. Chimneys Chap not answering my calls and messages about this, quite annoying.

Great communication, came out and provided a quote quickly, squeezed us in short notice and were very accommodating when we changed our mind about type of log burner. Reasonable price and would recommend.

Fitted and working. Not the correct stove but came back with the corre t one and fitted within a few days

Wrong items ordered. Asked for black marble surround and hearth to go round fire delivered 2 hearth. Fitters did the best they could even whet to pick up a back board then realised hearth was the wrong size. Owner told them to go get another hearth from same place as back board and to come back and finish the job. To which l refused as would still be working until 9-10 at night. And l still had to clean up after them as they didn't have a hoover. Work was completed next day while l was at work. But was hounded for payment before l had even gotten home to see work. When didn't receive any certificates or invoices for job. Owner comes across as quite aggressive when it comes to money not once checked to see if l am happy with job. And ended up with granite instead of marble. Would not recommend.

Did not turn up for the job, no contact from them until I asked if they were still coming, after another 2 hours at 6.15 on a Saturday night they said they were over 70 miles away and can we do it through the week, no apology, no contact to say they have been held up, I wouldn’t have minded if they had contacted me to say they had been held up on a job and could not make it so we could get on with other things!
