Fitting of log burner
I felt disappointed with this job and the price we paid for it. My partner had newly built the fireplace in a herringbone pattern and there was black sealant left all over the brickwork. The sealant didn’t close the gaps around the edges of the chimney plate. Even though they cut and fitted the chimney plate we was told the gap is too wide to be sealed so we’d have to do it ourselves. The chimney pipe was bent at an angle and so my father in law spent the afternoon having to fix this. I had to buy some more sealant to fix the job. We had also been quoted for a chimney sweep as well as a stove installation. Once they had looked into the chimney we were told the chimney didn’t need sweeping but we were still invoiced for the same price. It was only when I spoke to someone and mentioned we didn’t have the chimney swept that they knocked us £50 off. I can’t help thinking this was a Saturday morning rush job. I would not recommend and will not be using again.

no complaint was made too use this cusomer had too be chased for payment as would not reply too us and never mentioned a thing when i called him we deducted the sweep cost and he said everything was fine so future trades beware
