My tenants mentioned her door can't be locked this morning, so I put on the advertising and received a few interests. he said that he can have a look and later this afternoon he sent me an invoice for £380.40. he didn't communicate with me at all before he started doing the job. I was shocked and angry as I expected him to give me a quote before starting work. All he did was change the gearbox and fitting cylinder and he did within 50 mins. I had a argument with him, then suddenly he changed the price to £300,. I disagree with the price, then he changed price to £250, and then £200. In the end, he sent me an invoice for £150 . He is now abusing me on text messages call me disgusting woman.... We have used a locksmiths a few times in the past and I am a regular client on MyBuilder as we hav a few properties. I always gave 5 star review. I believe this is the first time ever I gave someone a 1 start review YOU have been warned, be careful use this locksmith!!!Answer from tradesperson:
Hi there is no truth in what your saying as there is no way I would drive from Leicester to Milton Keynes just for a quote you hired me to do the job which you pressed on the page before I even left my house, meaning go and do the job fitting of gearbox and lock cylinder which if you add the labour and vat yeah the price is acceptable baring in mind you have not mentioned once the quality of the job you obviously are only interested in moaning about price which you demanded should be £150 which are engineer had to accept as you as a landlord was willing to leave kids in the house with no security for the night baring in mind you charge a high rent cost and cannot afford to protect the safety of your tenants as you can see my reviews are all good so for me you are the problem no one else I would be shocked if you have ever used a locksmith before and I will be reporting you to my builder as a non paying customer
