Absolutely brilliant - James went to my house, measured up and then came to my office with samples (as i was too busy to meet him at home). Went above and beyond. The carpets look fabulous. A really professional job. Would definitely use again. Thank you very much

James came the next day when the carpet arrived unexpectedly early and did a fantastic job of fitting. He supplied a better quality underlay too and it really showed.

Why aren't more tradesmen like James Thurston from Carpet Fitter Local? He responded to my ad promptly, offered the day I wanted (Good Friday) and quoted the best price. He turned up early but didn't mind waiting, was polite and friendly, answered all my questions and laid my carpet carefully. He also spent time taking doors on/off to check they would go over the new, thicker carpet properly, fixed some dodgy floorboards and hoovered up afterwards. Tried to pay him extra but he refused the tip! Great service all-round. Don't think I'll be needing any new carpets for a while, but would use him again. 5 stars

Hired James to fit a carpet in our second bedroom. He arrived when arranged and did an excellent job. He even hoovered up afterwards and even offered to help move the furniture back in the room. Will happily use James again.
