Very happy happy with the job done. Chris offered a highly competative quote. The job was completed in good time and Chris also completed a couple of other small jobs at no extra charge. Overall we were very pleased with the work and the good price. At each step Chris took the time to explain what had happened and what he planned to do, along with taking pictures to show the before and after. Chris even contacted me after the job was finished to check there were no further problems. Very pleased with the outcome of the job. The stonework was completed in a day. As this job entailed modifying an existing fireplace I was concerned about the match of the stone and the mortar colour. I needn't have worried, as the stone has dried out it is hard to see where the old stonework ends and the new starts. The effect of opening the fireplace and installing a hearth has given the room a feature which it didn't have before. Everyone who has seen it has made very complimentary comments. Can't wait to see what it looks like when more is done and the brickwork at the back is repointed and a multifuel stove is installed. Thanks again to the lads. I would have no hesitation recommending them to anyone, they were polite, worked extremely hard and were happy to listen.
