Leaking pipe under kitchen sink
(Updated on 6 Aug 2023)Ste came to check a leaking pipe in my tenanted properly - sent me an invoice and said it was fixed so I paid him. However, the pipe continued to leak so the tenant tried to get in touch with him to come back. He never got back to her until I messaged him myself. He never responded to me and told her he would be back the next day. But the next day arrived and he didn’t turn up - she also called him and he didn’t answer. Not sure why he had an issue with returning again but I definitely feel robbed of my £70 seeing as he didn’t actually fix anything.
Answer from tradesperson:
There are some untruths in this account Firstly I made a repair to a washing machine tap that was satisfactory until I was contacted by the tenant who was ok with managing it in the short term as it could be easily isolated using the tap! We arranged a couple of times to visit but either she was working in London or I dem to think I had an emergency call out but we both communicated! Secondly I did try to attend the final time yet the apartment is in the city centre and parking is a issue , tried to call but no joy. Tried to contact landlady twice to refund with a view returning to repair. No response not sure what else I can offer!
