Review left on 19 Jun 2025Rating: 5 out of 5New Bathroom - 1 Bed FlatSte is an absolute credit to his profession. He’s great to work with keeps in constant communication and he’s work is top notch! He’s handled other related workers for the job for me and left me to get on with my day. As a landlord this is just the guy you want working on your job!Review from Andrew, Birmingham Andrew, Birmingham
Review left on 17 Jun 2025Rating: 5 out of 5Replace tap valve and handleSteve was quickest to respond to my job advert and kept me informed throughout. I am the landlord but he was happy to liaise directly with the tenants and suggested the best option once on site. This meant I did not need to visit myself. I’ll be using Steve again for future jobs.Review from Ramo , Birmingham Ramo , Birmingham
Review left on 14 Jun 2025Rating: 1 out of 5Upstairs bathroom renovationThere was clearly no pride taken in the work. Although he was eager to return and fix issues, the work should have been done properly the first time. Soldering: The soldering work was extremely poor — every joint was over-soldered. When asked to clean the excess solder, he refused to listen. Shower Tray Installation: Only five blobs of adhesive were used to secure the shower tray. As a result, there is movement in the tray due to lack of proper support. Waste Alignment: The shower tray waste was installed incorrectly and was not aligned with the centre of the tray waste outlet. I had to hire a different plumber to remove and realign it correctly. The movement in the shower tray is now a difficult issue to fix. My options are either to replace the entire tray — which would be costly — or attempt to apply adhesive underneath in the gaps. My biggest concern is that with ongoing movement and inadequate support, the tray could eventually crack. Photos and videos have been taken of workAnswer from tradesperson:
All I can say is that on the face of things Ramo seemed a reasonable guy who reached out as he’s original plumber couldn’t complete the job, I noticed mistakes that he took on board and were rectified, without any criticism to the original plumber as maybe he was just half way through! In terms of my soldering skills all joints were under the floor or behind a tilled wall so I do tend to over compensate and they don’t have to look perfect as they are never seen, most importantly No Leaks! I was happy to return to rectify any issues but was declined twice! Beginning to wonder what happened to the original plumber! Also he didn’t mention the fact that he’s central heating system was defective that I fixed at no extra cost! Id still go and sort it out but to be honest I just think he would like something for nothing All the best Ste
