After identifying damp on an internal wall in our kitchen we called Dave and a local company to come and view the problem and give us a quote for works. Dave was quick to arrange a callout and took a look outside the property to diagnose what was actually causing our damp issue (unlike a local company who recommended injecting a damp treatment and replastering). Dave provided us with a quote for works and we booked him in. On the day of the works, Dave and his son arrived on time and were clean and tidy. They also dealt with an issue in the downstairs toilet free of charge. Having dealt with Dave twice now, we would recommend him to others and believe him to be a very honest and reliable tradesman.

David was very professional in both his approach and demeanour and offered great advice. I have already recommended him to a family member, and would most certainly use ABS again.

David was extremely professional, courteous and helpful regards to the job I required. Urgent work was in order due to other work being carried out from another tradesman. David came to look at the issue the following day, gave clear advise as to what was required (and what wasn't!) and also some tips for some simple DIY I could carry out myself to help alleviate other potential issues I thought might be a problem. He quoted on the day with an all important guarantee included and carried out the work within another 48 hours. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic job just completed by David and the team tanking the basement bedroom. Job completed to exemplary standard and in good time. Regular updates throughout. Reasonable quote and, above all, a very friendly, professional and reliable service. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend David and the team as they were a pleasure to have around and we would definitely use again, although with a top quality job we don't foresee having to!

David was an absolute gentleman! We are first time buyers who had a survey which showed wet rot in an upstairs bedroom and we had been quoted £600+ to fix the problem. David came round and took less than 10 minutes to confirm that the suspected wet rot was a previously leaking radiator which had caused a small bit of damage to a skirting board. He advised that we could change the skirting but we had no problem with wet rot or damp. David did not charge us for coming out and his honesty was refreshing when so many others would have created a job which wasn't there. On top of that, David is a genuinely nice guy and it is obvious from our conversation that he has a wealth of knowledge and experience in his trade. We would definitely recommend David to friends and family and would be our first port of call if we had any damp problems.
