Hired to repair guttering and repoint hip tiles on garage roof. Complete mess! Gutters as bad as ever and now dripping badly in 2 places they never dripped before. The garage roof is a complete eyesore. I wondered why there seemed to be a layer of sand on the roof, when I took the garden hose to wash it off all the pointing began to wash off, obviously very little cement used. Will need completely redone. All debris from old pointing was scattered on the roof, in the gutters and in the garden. This gentleman charged me many hundreds of pounds for this work. Seriously lacking in any tradesman skills. I have made contact regarding this poor standard of work and have received zero response and have still not received any form of invoice for the work carried out. Would certainly not hire again.

The leak appeared again after the work was completed. I tried to contact him several times afterwards, but received no response. We had to hire an emergency roofer, who fixed the problem within one hour. I asked Kevin Laidlaw for a refund, but this request was also ignored.
