We hired George to skim the ceiling of our living room, as well as fix up a few cracks on our walls. It took him about two days, and seemed like a job well done. Well, you can imagine our surprise with the plaster on the ceiling came crashing down on us a week later! I texted George the photos, and he came by the same day to see what happened. It turns out whoever originally did the ceiling used Artex, and the additional weight of the plaster made the shoddy job come down. We knew George was telling the truth because the crack we had hired him to fix was now completely gone! It had collapsed along with the next layer of plaster. George offered to redo the ceiling again free of charge. The next weekend he brought over some colleagues and they scraped off the original Artex and re-skimmed the ceiling. It's been over two weeks, and there's no plaster in our hair this time! You'd hope everyone is an honest worker, but let's be honest. There's plenty of people that would have left us without our money and a skimmed ceiling. We're very grateful George put in the extra effort to get the job done - twice.

Terrible workmanship. Contractor was called back a number of times for remedial of his own work. Eventually, he became aggressive with my tenant by refusing to leave the premises until payment was made immediately for the substandard job. Regretfully, he was paid to prevent an escalation of the situation.

He truly showed professionalism that I had struggled as a guest house operator to get from handy people. He would go out of his way to satisfy. The finished redecorated room project was a masterpiece and took a little longer than planned because of the weather but he gave it his all! I am pleased I took a chance on him as there was no review on his profile when I hired him. I would however, pay attention to work and point out issues as they come up otherwise, you will have dirt and rubbish to content with as the workers leave all the mess after work.

William has been a godsend. He was able to get his men working within 12 hours of agreeing on the job. His team worked to a very tight deadline. He offered great advice throughout the process and was always willing to go the extra mile. Initially I was planning to post other jobs which needed doing e.g. rewiring of house, moving boiler and so on. However, William was able to offer a comprehensive service which meant I didn't have to deal with the headache of organising different workers. Overall all the work undertaken by William and his team has been completed promptly and to a good standard. I will be using them again for any future projects and would highly recommend them.
