I have worked in the construction industry for almost 20 years from leaving school and I completed a level 2 NVQ trowel occupations back in 2010. I have worked alongside many experienced builders in that time and developed sound hands on experience leading to the development of my own business. I’ve been in the construction trade for 27 years, I do have some basic masonry skills as well as being an experienced plasterer. From plastering point of view I can use, multi finish, board finish, 1 coat, bonding, dry wall adhesive. From a rendering point of view I can use sand & cement render used with hydrated lime, this includes fixing belcast beads, angle beads, stop beads, the process of rendering is applying a scratch coat, letting that adhere then apply a top coat render. I can also carry out scat render with a tyrollean gun. From a lime plastering point of view I can use the haired lime & the unhaired lime finish render.
