Get in touchWe used Mitica for a loft conversion in Sept/Oct 2023 and we have nothing but praise for him and his team! If I could give them 6 stars out of 5 I would! The job was quoted 6-8 weeks and they were done by 5.5 weeks. Mitica and his team covers almost everything in-house incl but not limited to construction, plumbing, tiling, decorating, woodworks which reduced the risks of delays significantly. We received the quotation within timely manner from site visit, the quote was detailed and transparent and competitive. Communication throughout the project was great, the workers were punctual, respectful to neighbours, kept noise and dust to a minimum. Miticia also managed to tweak drawings and the position of the stairs which gave us more useable floor space than initially expected. The attention to detail is visible everywhere in the final product and we would wholeheartedly recommend them and will be using for any future work we may undertake.Latest review:Loft Conversion- - Get in touchFrom start to finish, we had a wonderful experience with Alin of Smart Builders. He took us a show some of his previous work and we felt confident in giving him the job of our loft conversion and garden gym building. He has a team of hard-working professionals and they made the job go very smoothly and efficiently, from day one. He started his timeline and even though we had small issues along the way which is to be expected he always had a solution or more than one solution for us and was mindful not overspend on our behalf. Honestly, we could not have asked for a Builder and the end result is really beautiful. The team were very friendly and polite and cleaned up behind themselves every single day. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Alin to anyone who is lucky enough to book him for their job.

They later visited with Anxhelo and I was convinced with their professional yet flexible and can-do attitude approach.They broke the projects in phases as per my requirement. They completed the loft conversion within 3 months as promised. They had a very good team, most of them they were related to or people they trusted. They made the work very manageable even with us living in the property. We even managed to set up a structure for the ground extension for which I called them back to complete few months later. As I was working on tight budget for the ground work, we agreed to work on phases. They completed the extension too except for the finishings like plastering, painting and flooring. They also have a good network of team they work with like the electricians, skips, concrete foundations etc...meaning less work for us. Get in touchWe recently just had a major house refurbishment (loft conversion, interior strip out, open plan kitchen, decking and redoing the plumbing and electrics etc). Jason was superb at project managing the whole thing and he was exactly what we were looking for us to be able to get the house renovated while we still worked or were away for travels. He truly supported us and gave his full attention to this project (As he usually works one project at a time) and was very responsive to things. What I also liked is that he was transparent with all payments and communicated any additional costs so there were no surprises. My only comment I would have is the finishing is not necessarily the best and this needed more checking from us as we found quite few things that were not done and had to communicate with him which he then tried to sort out. Even after moving in, he's still very easy to reach and will address any snagging issues that we've had. Great service and great communication overall!

Despite an initial estimate of 12 wks, it was completed to a high standard within 15 wks, with only a minimal 3-wk delay due to 3rd parties (window suppliers) and the holiday season. A complex project. Full rebuild of bungalow, which included hip to gable conversion, rear loft dormer, stair, ground floor extension and full ground floor rennovations (1st & 2nd fix). Mandeep and Balwinder tackled a complex design that involved the integration of steel beams and pillars. They coordinated with various suppliers and also helped me to order skylights, windows, and doors, ensuring timely delivery and installation to keep the project on track. Team always showed professionalism, ensuring that they were always punctual, tidy, and respectful. Commitment to completing the project on time was evident, they maintained open communication throughout. One +ve aspect was their willingness to work with a private building control company that i hired, which ensured compliance with regulations. Another +ve aspect of working with them was clear payment milestones in the agreement. Payment was made on completion of milestones, which provided transparency and reassurance throughout the project. In life you really get what you pay for. With Durham and his team they came in at a fair and competitive price. He broke down every aspect of the quote to explain how much it would all cost and why, this gave me a great understanding and allowed me to prioritise different areas and allowed us to work in our budget. From start to finish everything was taken care of and his response was always don’t worry we can sort it. He always has a solution and goes above and beyond without hesitation. He really does treat his work like he is building his own house which means even if you agree the bare minimum, he will do extras just to ensure customer satisfaction. The detail is 10/10. After agreeing on a price for loft conversion and back extension, Mr Rattan kept increasing the price by referring to minor things. Like charging extra for plate that goes on steel. First day when he turned up, he demanded that owner should provide tea and snack for his labour every day. Also he was not ready to include the agreed price on the contract (as he was sub contracting the job to someone else). Glad we cancelled him and hired another builder in his place. I have evidence of all communication I had with him, incase anyone wants it. I would avoid him at all cost.Latest review:Loft Conversion-
