I would not recommend this builder based on my experience. Instead of using crushed concrete they used soil to fill the house flooring for underfloor heating. 1 The project suffered from poor communication, repeated delays, and a lack of clarity around responsibilities. There were serious issues with the foundation works, which failed Building Control inspection and now require remedial engineering input before works can proceed. The site was also left incomplete and not in an acceptable condition. Despite substantial payments being made, key documentation, technical responses, and follow-through were lacking, leaving me to resolve major compliance and structural issues independently. My experience has resulted in delay, additional cost, and considerable stress. I would strongly advise others to ensure there is a detailed written contract, clear scope of works, and defined accountability

We cannot praise Johnny and his team enough. They were simply fantastic throughout our project - they have done a beautiful loft conversion, and transformed the rest of the house.. installed two new bathrooms, opened up the downstairs and installed a new kitchen, installed new front and rear doors and bifolds, restored original fireplace, decorated. They are delightful guys to have around, Johny keeps a firm grip of the project and makes sure things don’t get delayed. They are proper craftsmen and real perfectionists. They work hard, they have an eye for detail, they are unfazed by problems, they kept to schedule - you couldn’t ask for more. Johny was around to give advice at any stage we needed, they left things clean and tidy and have a real pride in their work. We would highly recommend Johny to anyone - he’s a great, trustworthy, hardworking and genuine guy who does exactly what he says he will. This was our first major building project but we couldn’t have been in better hands.

Based on architect recommendation, we contracted Alain on a private basis to produce structural engineering designs for our home renovation. He undertook a site visit and then produced structural designs to support a large number of elements related to new support beams, lintels etc. These have been iterated with the architect and the process has been very smooth. He was very responsive and nice to interact with. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a structural engineer for the type of project we undertook (loft conversion, new pitched roof, new openings within walls and ground floor open plan conversion)
