Mark has recently completed a kitchen extension and garage conversion for us. Before hiring Mark we went to view some of his most recent projects. The customers confirmed what Mark had told us and were thrilled with the work he had completed. What first struck us about Mark was his extensive knowledge of building control regulations and what we could and couldn't do. Mark advised that the job would take approximately 6 weeks to complete. He explained in detail what was going to happen. Mark will agree that we were very fussy clients and had high expectations. Mark met our expectations. He co-ordinated all the trades throughout the build, all of which were very competent and reliable. Mark and his team turned up when they said they would, cleaned up at the end of each day and were friendly. Mark was not the cheapest quote we had but also not the most expensive. The quality of the materials he used gave clear indication of value for money. He didn't cut corners in any aspect of the build. It was so nice to deal with someone who was reliable and committed to the job, and this was also the case with every trade he bought in. The job took 5 weeks in total to do, including extras we asked for along the way. I can without doubt recommend Mark and his team. We wanted to have a complete overhaul of our bathroom, rip out the old, strip it back to the brick and start from scratch. As this was our first major renovation in our first home we were naturally nervous. Mariusz came in at a competitive quote and really listened to the vision we had it our heads of how the design and functionality of the bathroom should be. The bathroom is now completed and so far I am really pleased with the quality of the work and the look and feel is exactly what we had in mind. Mariusz was friendly, professional, flexible and very trustworthy he always came up with solutions to any problems that came along during the renovation and has delivered us a dream, luxury bathroom that will hopefully stand the test of time. We carry out all types of construction work and jobs of all sizes. We also offer to take control of all the council inspections from the beginning of the job until the final inspection.
It has now been over 12 months since our extension was completed by Darren and his team. We are extremely grateful to him for creating such a beautiful additional space to our home. Throughout the experience Darren and his team behaved in a professional manner. The work was completed to a very high standard in a reasonable timescale. This took place while we lived in the property and throughout, there was a high degree of respect for our privacy and comfort. Our extension is at the rear of the property and is the full width of the house. It is finished with bifold doors and provides us with a lovely view of our large garden. There is an ample patio area finished in Indian stone as the garden was excavated and a new retaining wall was built to match the brick work of the extension. This room is now classed as our living room and consists of my dream kitchen complete with a large island housing a built under sink and hob. It allows me to look out into the room whilst I am preparing meals. Opposite the kitchen is a lounge area and at the back of the room is the dinning area, therefore it is all contained in one large room. It was extended by just over 3 metres and has 4 velux windows in the cathedral roof. Glass french doors lead into the existing lounge. It is very light and bright as the back of the property is south facing. When the bifolds are open it feels like the garden is part of the room.
