We met Sunny a couple of times during the quote process and he took some time to advise us what was required during the planning process, the party wall, the potential buildover agreement. His team was respectful of the house and neighbours during this rather long project (6 months, both a dormer loft and a rear extension). We had a daily plan which was followed quite accurately even with the different extras that were requested during the project. The team also took into account the access constraint issue. We had a variety of works done, outside patio, new kitchen, new flooring full rewiring, new bathrooms, new boiler etc and were satisfied with the end result. We are particularly happy about the new kitchen installation. The discussion with the private building control was smooth and we got the building control certification without any issue. The snagging at the end of the project was taken seriously and each snag was sorted out. We were not living at the house during the works and were not locally either but the daily call / whatsapp messages and pictures ensured we were kept informed at all times. We would hire them again if we have new projects in the area.

I highly recommend Sohail Faisal of Samz Construction Services Ltd. We chose Sohail's company to complete our Hip to Gable with Rear Dormer Loft Conversion in Guildford and we are delighted with the work. The job was completed to a high standard, within the expected timescale and on budget. Sohail's communication throughout is excellent, taking time to explain what work will be completed on which days, what is involved and how many people will be attending on which days to complete the work. Sohail also let me know exactly when deliveries of materials were arriving and when the skips would be collected etc. Sohail's team of builders are all very friendly, polite, and respectful and do a great job of cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. In terms of price and payment schedule, this was fair and efficient. Sohail has a payment schedule that works really well - invoicing for staggered payments at certain points, i.e. on delivery of materials, then when the building inspector signs off the first job etc. this makes you feel at ease with the job and confident that everything is always on track. All around I am really happy with the project and have no doubts about recommending Sohail to family and friends - I have already asked Sohail to quote on my next project.

Based on architect recommendation, we contracted Alain on a private basis to produce structural engineering designs for our home renovation. He undertook a site visit and then produced structural designs to support a large number of elements related to new support beams, lintels etc. These have been iterated with the architect and the process has been very smooth. He was very responsive and nice to interact with.
