- Get in touchAVOID Davis & Co if you want reliability & honesty. They were great until things started to fail. Don't get caught like we did, find someone else. They built an extension for us and have let us down badly. We had to replace the french doors because they were leaking; they were the wrong size and poorly fitted. Having a loft conversion has uncovered several problems with their build including incorrectly fitted roofing which has leaked causing the roof boards to rot. More alarmingly the roof has not been finished to building regulations on one side. We have had to pay out for an independent structural engineer to inspect and make a report and Danny and Jake Davis have refused to work with us to resolve the issues. We are now having to take legal action to cover the costs of putting right their poor workmanship. Do homework on building regs too, you pay for this and it is the builders responsibility NOT the inspectors to ensure ALL work is to the standard inspected or photographed.Latest review:Loft Conversion-

He came the next day to quote for the job and started the work a couple of days later. Within 3 days they had created footings, knocked down walls, dismantled our kitchen and had steels in ready for the extension. The speed of progress has continued, the project management has been outstanding, everything delivered on the right day, without lots of materials being stored on site. They have been incredibly polite to our neighbours, ensuring they are parking with consideration and not inconveniencing anyone. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found this team via this site. Get in touchOliver quoted for replacing existing wardrobe doors. We requested a particular colour which he sourced. The completion date changed many times which was frustrating. When he arrived to fit the doors the paint finish was poor, with cracks, hand marks and the draw fronts did not match. We explained our dissatisfied and Oliver stated that he would replace for the agreed quoted price, which we were very happy with, this was back in January! With countless calls texts Oliver has stated he would call back and he has not. We have been left with badly fitted draws, a poor paint job on the doors and also no handles on the wardrobes.
