Special mention to Matt who made short work of the demolition and did a wonderful job with the flooring. Brad is professional, approachable and highly knowledgeable - even coming out on his day off to offer advice and reassurance on an unpleasantly surprising building control decision. Highly recommend Henstowe for any building work.

Moreover, he has rigorously stuck to both. Most importantly ( for me anyway) the standard of Peter's work is exceptionally high, he attends to every little detail- clearly he is a perfectionist!. He is also a very creative thinker who will always come up with a solution to any of the those little issues that arise during building work. He is clearly very highly qualified and competent. He is also very thoughtful and considerate of the family and does his utmost to avoid disruption and mess as best he can. I had a kitchen extension built - whilst still having to use the original kitchen - and with the use of temporary walls and screens, Peter ensured I was still able to use it. I would highly recommend Peter for any building project you might be considering. Another point of interest , all of the other trades that came in ( electricians, plumbers etc) all said that they really liked working with Peter because they know that when he makes arrangements, they can take those timings to the bank ! I therefore want to WARN ⚠️ everyone ro be extra careful!Latest review:Conversions - General- - Get in touchNice team yet poor communication. Would work 1 day yet not turn up for days after. I was always asking when they’d be returning. Works took a lot longer than originally suggested. The width of the garage appears to of not been measured correctly, so the window has been installed without any recess on either end, which has also resulted in 1 wall not being straight (it angles out to meet 1 side of the window) Plasterer didn’t turn up which pushed us back another day. Installed en-suite into a soak away which meant I had to have someone re-plumb the en-suite properly costing an extra £1400 + 2 more days. Gas meter and fuse box was studded and plastered around then those holes were covered with mdf with insulation stuck to the back - not carpentry work in my opinion. Electrician took days to return for 2nd fix yet couldn’t finish this due to not having the correct screws, so left 1 double fascia hanging off the wall. No idea when anyone is coming back to resolve. En-suite door hadn't been trimmed when hung so when we installed the carpet we couldn’t shut the door. FHT suggested we leave the door off & they’d fix it - I still haven’t heard back a week on. What I thought would be a reasonable transformation has caused myself and my family nothing but stress. I would not recommend FHT and I will not use again.Latest review:Conversions - General-
