As we had a vaulted ceiling originally, it was important to us that as we have an oak flooring throughout the ground floor that it was protected when the roof was removed. Richard took great care to put down a membrane and plywood panels to ensure full protection. The new build proceeded with attention to detail and to an excellent high standard. Everything has now been completed within schedule to enable us to decorate and get back to normal in time for Christmas. We are very pleased with the end result and have no hesitatation in recommending Richard and his team and would certainly use his services again. He refitted our kitchen, including stripping out old units, removal of flooring, removal of an internal wall and then laying new flooring and installing complete kitchen. Daniel did an excellent job and we are very pleased with the final result. Daniel worked diligently, was always punctual and tidy. We found him to be very polite, friendly and gave us lots of advice about the job. Daniel has a good attention for detail and delivered a high quality finish, all for a very competitve price. Get in touchLiam has just fitted our kitchen. We have no words to describe the exceptional professionalism with which he carried out the work from start to finish. He also went out of his way to arrange a skip for us with no strings attached. Once we had appointed Liam for the job he was very accommodating to work around the dates suitable for us (as we had carpet fitters starting on the same day) including offering services within his planned holiday dates. On the first day he started work he quickly spotted errors in the drawings provided by the kitchen company. Within minutes he provided new measurements and recommended design changes to the kitchen company designer and ordered the extra units (on the phone) on the same day to fit and get on with the job. Due to the onsite last-minute changes as a result of the errors in the drawings he had to work out the positioning of the hob and the hood without drawings. On the job there was hardly any disturbance and at times we did not even know there were three people working in the house. He was always there to answer any questions we had and explaining anything we needed to understand. We are now looking forward to welcoming Liam again to fit 13 doors in the house followed by installing second kitchen in our studio flat. We have no hesitation in recommending Liam and Cambridge Carpentry and Construction to anyone out there who is planning to get any building / carpentry / joinery work done.
