I cannot recommend Tom and his team highly enough. We needed a dormer loft shell constructed to include 1 bedroom and en suite. They started 19th November and it was completed by January 9th. Through incredibly challenging weather, freezing temperatures and very high winds. The chaps started before 9am every day, and included occasional weekend hours. The quality of the work is superb. Tom talked through options and variations as to how we could best achieve what we were aiming to create from the outset. We felt at ease and confident in his judgement and opinions. Payments were made in installments at relevant intervals of job completion which was quick and straightforward. There is absolutely nothing I would change about the service we received or the manner in which our job was managed. Anyone wishing to have a reliable team of builders, Tom and his team I cannot recommend enough. Paul was fantastic. He provided a detailed and clear quote quickly after I posted the job and stuck to it. He advised me on product choices and offered solutions to problems with the space/layout so that I could have the bathroom I was looking for. Lee has a very positive and friendly attitude in addition to his professionalism, reliability and building skills. The work was done efficiently and quickly and Lee kept us regularly updated of the progress. The actual project came in quite close to the original budget, and any changes or extra works which needed to be done were done with prior discussion and agreement. Lee also provided some great solutions and suggestions throughout. Moreover, he offered a warranty on the works and has come back to fix any issues that may have come up several months after the works completed. Overall I am pleased with how the fence looks, the materials look good. Although Mr Little visited the property to give a quote for the works he decided the quote was too low & needed to add a sum of almost £700 extra. This shows unprofessionalism. The work ethic was some of the most bizarre I have ever seen, over 4 days the gentleman from LO Property arrived at different times, getting later throughout the week.They stood around looking at their mobiles much more than I would have liked. The 1st day only 3 concrete posts were removed, I understand much cannot be done on the first day due to deliveries and such but there were 2 of them. There was plenty of work to be getting on with, it felt very unorganised. The 2nd day, half of the concrete post fence was put up, that is much more like the level of work I would come to expect, however this did not last long as on the 3rd day it was yet another doss day. The final day was a complete rush, the job was finished but it was obvious it was rushed. A lot of rubbish was left; a few small tools were left. I wanted to mention the 2 gentlemen that did most of the labour were very polite and professional. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Mr Little, I was not kept updated with the works and the plan of action of each day. He avoided eye contact with me when I did talk with him, when I saw him in the garden mostly he was on his mobile. Dan and his guys were top class, good communication and very responsive from start to finish. Kept the house really tidy while we had the ensuite completely renovated, had a new home office in the garden and new block paving drive. Everything looks amazing. Would definitely recommend for any building work.
