Latest review:Loft Conversion-We've had a very extensive loft conversion done by MMMB. Manuel carefully explained the process with an easy to follow spreadsheet of costs & rough time frames. He was open & honest about potential hidden issues in our old home & took measures to account for this in the schedule and pricing. Work commenced and as predicted, some hidden issues were located & although adding to the cost, things were clearly explained and plans put in motion to incorporate these set-backs. Additionally we decided to add extras as they unfolded & again, MMMB incorporated these changes into their schedule, being honest about the delay this would have on the initial timeframe. Like any building site (as our home became) mishaps happen, especially as we were unable to move some of our bigger furniture items, & as such a few items got damaged. However I was impressed with how quickly they rectified this, fully replacing the few items that were damaged. They're fully insured which was a great relief & most importantly were honest & open from the start, which was comforting. The quality of the build is fantastic with wonderful tradesman that were friendly, happy to speak, answer questions & listen to any concerns we had. Due to how this build went, we're now starting to plan work for our ground floor with MMMB for next year (or year after depending on the national mortgage situation). Latest review:Loft Conversion-The job was slightly unusual, involving making adjustments to an existing roof. Ben turned up when he said he would to look at the job, and seemed knowledgeable and helpful and understood the job quickly. The job was urgent and Ben offered to work a Saturday to do the job in a week's time (and Sunday if necessary to complete it), which I was pleased with, and at a reasonable price. We asked for a reference and to see Ben's public liability insurance. The referee said he was very happy with Ben's work. After a few prompts we eventually got the insurance policy in the afternoon before the work was due to start, and it had an endorsement which made it unclear whether it covered the work we were having done. Ben was unwilling to discuss it with us or contact the insurance company for clarification, saying he was too busy, and said to find someone else to do the work.

Latest review:Roofing (Flat)-Great solution to a simple problem! Gary turned up, inspected the roof, and sealed our leak there and then for a very reasonable cost! He was very honest about the condition of the existing roof and what he could reasonably do for our repair. Once he had been up and repaired the leak he'd taken photos on his phone so we could clearly understand what he had done and what was possible with the current roof! The repair appears to be holding up, it is raining now and still no leak, so fingers crossed! Would definitely recommend Gary to anyone.
After many bad experiences with Mybuilder Albuild was a welcome change. He was knowledgeable and very helpful and nothing was to much trouble. Would recommend them but none of the others that I have used for other projects in the past.

Latest review:Loft Conversion-We have just hired the team to strengthen, insulate and board our loft space. From start to finish Doug and the team were professional, tidy, considerate and COVID safe. We left them just to get on with the job in hand, whilst the family just got on with our business. The team was always on time and even waiting outside until 8am (our agreed time) so they didn’t disturb our morning routine. They were clean and tidy never leave anything around for our 3 year old to get hold of and they put dust sheets down before starting any work every day, also took any rubbish off site daily. The quote was very good, which they stuck too even though the job was bigger than they 1st thought. Unlike other builders they estimated a time frame of 3 days and didn’t leave the job until it was done. Should I need anymore work done they will be my first call and I have no problem recommending them to you. Thanks for a great job. Darren and Family

I would highly recommend Bill who provided a detailed quote and when asked to do a bit more kept me informed of the additional costs. He was reliable as in turning up when arranged and worked hard. Having used Plasterer's before I can say Bill was the tidiest I have experienced and obviously respectful of working in someone else's home. His work was to a high standard and I got the impression that he wouldn't be happy if a job wasn't done right. I would recommend Bill for your plastering needs.
