Glyn's team made us feel comfortable and confident in their abilities, which set the tone for the entire project. I'll admit, I have a super picky eye for detail, but nothing was too much trouble for this team. They patiently listened to my concerns, addressed every question, and accommodated my every request. The work carried out by this team was of a high standard. It was clear that they took great pride in their craft. Our kitchen went from a dilapidated, outdated space that was falling apart to a modern kitchen that is a delight to cook in.

Dan simply was great - we'd got 12 solid core interior doors and their fixings - the whole house, replacing the original hollow core doors. Each door needed the works - hinge rebates cutting, door adjusting, lock etc. The result is excellent and Dan did the job calmly and efficiently - and kept the place tidy and clean despite having to cut every door in the house. A job well done and on schedule.

Our 1980,s kitchen was due for an update so ordered a new one from B&Q to fit our small terraced house. Being an old property we knew that it would throw up issues so felt that a professional carpenter would be more sensible to assemble it rather than a standard kitchen fitter. We searched for someone on this site and found Tom a carpenter with years of experience and a sound reputation so invited him to visit us to assess the job. Tom turned up, looked at the plans, we agreed a fixed price, gave him the keys to the house and let him get on with the job. Tom identified bowed walls, brickwork structures and irregularities all over the place but solved each problem as they arrived, delivering us a wonderful new kitchen to enjoy. Standard kitchen fitters are ok but they simply wont have the skills to adapt to issues, a professional carpenter will such as Tom did and all on his own. Thank you for your hard work Tom, we hope to see you again for our next project, keep in touch Rob and Sam .

Hired to install toilet, basin and bannister. The work was so shoddy, we had to ask him to leave. All work he carried out has to ripped out and done correctly at considerable cost to ourselves. Do not employ him. Materials he provided were the cheapest possible and not what he quoted for. He bought the wrong size bannister rail and spindles so he bodged it with bits of wood glued in, glue all over the spindles. Quoted for primed spindles, provided cheap pine which we had to paint. Quoted for white composite panelling, provided grey chipboard which he said we had to paint. Where he installed pipe work for the basin, you wouldn't be able to get through the door. Forgot to install the window so hacked through the plasterboard he'd put in, then ordered the wrong size window as he only measured the inside. Put in electics even though he's not qualified and the work can't be signed off. Didn't bury pipework, so patio slabs can't go back down. Used non compliant plasterboard.

Max understood our needs perfectly, he regularly checked what we wanted and showed us the materials that were being used before fitting them. There was a lot of materials which Max tidied up regularly. He was respectful of our property and kept us up to date on arrival times. The work Max did was professionally done, finished beautifully and at a competitive price. A very positive experience throughout. We would be very happy to recommend Max.
