He arrived on the agreed day and left when I was completely satisfied with all aspects of my new kitchen. I would thoroughly recommend him. A really pleasant chap who did the work for us. He cam and gave an estimate and then arranged the fitting once we had obtained the kitchen units. He double checked that everything was in order and was very attentive to what we had requested. He doubled checked on things when he was doing the work and was a very clean and reliable workman. I would have no hesitation in using him again in the future

A bad experience with Stu. He said he would start the job within a few days of the quote, however, it turned out to be his junior only, who was onsite for the next 2 weeks on his own. The junior had only just started working with stu for 3 weeks, with only the very basic of skills. I kept asking Stu where he was and why he wasn't doing my job.....turns out he was doing somebodies else's job and charging me full price for a junior. On the very rare occasion that Stu did decide to do some work on my kitchen (he actually did some work for 4-5 days out of a whole month), I found him to be very difficult to work with. He would ask questions that he should know the answers to, he would be argumentative, he would make up endless excuses about why things weren't done, using his children and personal life as the reason. Stu eventually walked out after a month of doing my job. Barely anything was done, and what was done was done in the wrong order so I ended up paying a new builder just as much money as the original quote. I paid Stu almost £2000 and not even the first electrical fix was done. Quite frankly I don't know what to think. Is it because I'm a young single female and I'm inexperienced in these matters ? I have been taken advantage of and feel I am owed at least half of what I paid as have had to pay for another builder to finish the work at more than the original price. Let's hope Stu feels some sense of guilt or remorse for how he has treated me.
