Pat & his team did a good job overall with my new kitchen & it does look really nice - except the floor. They were polite, clean & tidy - too tidy at times. Communication could have been better as there were days when no one showed up & the work took twice as long as quoted. The work contracted included the fitting of a new floor which unfortunately was not laid in accordance with the manufacturers instructions & with days one of the joints had broken. The floor is breaking up, there are gaps in the joints & strips are tearing off where the floor wasn't levelled. Over 2 years on I'm still trying to get this resolved. All communication has now ceased. A Consumer Rights Breach of Contract letter has been ignored & despite using the Federation of Master Builders logo on his business card he is not a member & wasn't at the time my work was carried out. Reported to Trading Standards & now heading to Small Claims Court as all attempts to resolve this amicably have failed.

What can I say about Tony? Appears lovely to your face but appear he tells porkies. I'll summarise quickly - he came round, quote sounded good but wasn't quite right (colour was wrong for example) - if you asked for a tweak it took a while to hear back. He also said he'd remove the lounge window for £0 cost for our sofa delivery. It all dragged on a while. I chased it up and our sofa was actuallty being delivered. His wife said it was c. £500 for the window removal. He then did visit again (we found out we could do the sofa without removing the window so thought we would give him a chance) - he said his wife is a bit angry, hence the high cost for temp. removal. I asked for one last quote and wanted to go ahead..... nothing... I chased... &chased... he then replied saying he's closing down the business. Well look, here we are, 6 months later & he appears to still be trading. I feel a mug. I wished him all the best, thinking his biz was going under. Whole weird process went on 8 months.

We decided to fit a new kitchen in our tenanted house all done remotely via Australia. We are very pleased with the final kitchen and credit to Oliver for staying committed to the job. He communicated well throughout the process and as a result there were no surprises. This was not an easy process as we were dealing with a difficult tenant that we were trying to remove at the time. As a result the new kitchen was fitted but Oliver had to come back months later to finish the job. I know this was frustrating for him but with mutual respect and trust we got the job finished and I thank him for his patience and honesty. Would recommend his services.
