A relatively simple loft conversion design is still incomplete months later. Initial drawings did not work with the space available. An alternative we found has still not be inserted into plans. Will be happy to amend review once job is complete, but currently very unhappy.

Excellent service. When jason first contacted me I was hesitant as to how he was able to do the work beings he was situated nearly 200 miles away and also doing it remotely! I was wrong planning application sailed through and passed, he was always on hand and keeping me updated all the way through, brilliant service and highly recommended

We got planning permission! Jason completed our planning application and drawings remotely, which was fantastic during covid. Very easy process and was always on hand to help and offer advice. Thanks again Jason -Laura & Marc (4 Bronte Way)

I thoroughly regret choosing this engineer. Initially I was sent an email overview of their package and price. I was ok and proceeded It later turned to a price for each calculation, despite the drawing not reflecting this. I was told he would remedy issues from building control etc After payment, building control and party wall surveyor listed a few things, his tone was rude, he wouldn't change anything and the drawings are proving useless to us all without the necessary changes. I have asked about the complaint procedure as I don't see why have drawings that are useless to all contractors involved.

This review is for those people that have had bad experiences with tradespeople and have very low expectations of the service they will get from someone they now hire. I am an Asian woman on her own at the moment and I am used to tradespeople trying to rip me off or not taking me seriously at all. I’ve lost thousands to this kind of tradesperson. Jason wasn’t one of the architects I initially reached out to for a quote for this job, he approached me himself. All communication and work has been remotely done. From his initial message he was very clear and straight about what he could offer and exactly how much it would cost. When I had my first conversation with Jason, even though I hadn’t hired him for the job yet, he gave me loads of invaluable advice and tips about my planning stage and also further stages of the extension I want to do. Jason keeps saying ‘I’m just doing my job’ every time I say thank you, but he always goes above and beyond what is expected and he really cares about how I’m feeling and is also helping me choose a builder for this job to weed out anyone that might try to rip me off. These things aren’t part of his job, but he thinks it’s the standard because he’s such a lovely person. His work is top quality and overall his prices are very fair and you will get your moneys worth and more. If you’re doubting whether to shortlist him or not, especially if you’re a woman, don’t think about it another second. Hire this lovely man.
