Michael did a very nice job at short notice - the flooring looks great.

Prior to starting the job, Mike was excellent with communication, professional advice, providing alternate options and being open to listening to what I wanted. During the work itself, and whilst the job took more than half a day more than he had planned, he committed to the agreed costs and delivered a professional service and kept me up to date with progress (I left him with a key to my house - my own mother doesn't get that). Just a few areas that could have been better - some of the nails in the beading are not fully hammered in and the boards in the hallway do not meet the threshold fully, some gaps there. Also I had asked for two doors to be planed but did not bring the tools to do this so we will have to hire someone else to come do them. Overall satisfied with the work done for the price and happy Mike was able to do the work in one day on the day we requested.
