I found Geoffrey Macfarlane to be hard working honest & a practical bricklayer. He is very precise in his work. he is prepared to discuss and decide the best possible solution to the problem at hand. He has very practical ideas for the job at hand and comes up with very economical . Being an engineer myself I found that his prices were very reasonable. He is punctual and reliable and very cheerful. I thoroughly recommend him for any brick laying or paving undertakings. I found his prices very treasonable and completed the job on time.

Geoff and his partner Tom completed the work to a high standard and on time. They were punctual, courteous and hard working. They were happy to discuss and provide alternative solutions to problems as the work progressed. We would happily recommend them.

Jeff and Darren were punctual every morning and they worked hard on the job. They were both a pleasure to have working for me. Jeff kept me informed throughout the whole build and was happy to make changes at my request, he even demonstrated different styles for me to see and choose which i preferred. He was always available by phone and was happy to answer any questions i had. I will not hesitate to contact him in the future for any other work i might have. In a nutshell he's funny, friendly, hard working and an excellent builder. Highly recommended.

Jeff is a very professional and hard working tradesman. He’s very reliable giving a full day’s work, starting early each day. He’s knowledgeable and will advise you on the best way and price to complete your work. My front garden wall, back garden patio and shed were finished to a high standard. If you want good reliable builder and fare pricing Jeff is the builder you need to hire.

Jeff carried out some subcontract work for one of our clients on their boundary wall. He did an excellent job, he was polite, punctual clean and tidy and clients were very happy, they called him a ‘true craftsman’ and would be very happy to use him again. Likewise we will definitely be giving him more work.

Geoff arrived on time first thing in the morning and proceeded to work hard on the first day to clear and prepare the site leaving the area clean and tidy for the next day. Again he turned up bright and early the following morning and finished the job to a great standard. Geoff was very friendly and always happy to provide advice ( with cup of tea in hand! ) Will certainly use him again for any future work needed.

Geoff completed the job very well, I am extremely happy with the result. He cleared up the mess after he had finished, which is always a nice touch, and was on time both with starting and finishing! I will definitely hire him again when we do our patio and driveway, and recommend him to anyone who needs fencing or paving. Thanks again to Geoff!
