An excellent, polite, friendly, and professional workman! Turned up when he said he would, has done an excellent job, at a very reasoable price, cleared up completely after he had finished. I have already arranged a further job with him, in a couple of months. You can't go wrong hiring Jeff.

I received many quotes for my posted job on mybuilder.com, however Jeff immediately offered to come round the following day (a Sunday) and give me an accurate quote and discuss the job in person. He provided the specific materials we requested without any fuss, and completed the job quickly and to a very high standard - and all with a very pleasant nature! We would not hesitate in using Jeff again.

Jeff was one of the few builders who came round to look at the job in advance of quoting, therefore I felt his quote would be accurate and appropriate. He did a good, neat job, taking care with the details, and was reliable and agreeable throughout.

Would like to say a big thank you to you for all your hard work, my garden now looks amazing, not a muddy football pitch anymore, Jeff worked through very cold weather and never moaned once, he gave me ideas for the paving and brickwork ( i didn't have a clue ) he completed garden and front doorstep in a week, even though we had snow, a really nice guy and would without a doubt recommend to anyone, Thanks again Jeff.

Jeff did a professional job, and found ways to solve problems that arose, without any fuss. We were very pleased with the outcome. He is a pleasure to deal with, and we would recommend him.

Jeff and his assistant, Darren, have done an excellent job rebuilding our garden wall. Since this was a party wall with our neighbour's garden, the job was slightly more complex than normal, because of the need to liaise with our neighbours. Jeff was very accommodating, adapting to the delay in getting started because we needed to coordinate with our neighbours. He also took the trouble to avoid the extra expense of hiring a skip (by collecting the rubble in sacks then taking it away in his van). Jeff and Darren took down the old wall, which was about to collapse, saving as many of the original bricks as possible. Jeff sourced reproduction old bricks, as many as needed to replace those which couldn't be salvaged – pretty indistinguishable from originals, but much cheaper than genuine old bricks, and the two guys mixed them in with the old bricks perfectly when the wall was rebuilt. Both Jeff and Darren were hard-working, even when the weather was terrible, efficient, punctual and courteous. They cleaned up very well when they finished. We are completely satisfied with the work done, and so have no hesitation in recommending Jeff. Well done Geoffrey MacFarlane and MyBuilder!

Geoff did a superb job for us; the new patio looks fantastic and has made a huge improvement to our garden. We now just have to wait for the summer to really make the most of it!

I had the good fortune to find these 2 little gems to completely revamp my back garden. They both worked extremely hard from early in the morning until the finish of the day. Always, always cleaned up behind themselves and were extremely helpful at all times. As I was not sure what exactly would be suitable Jeff came up with various idea's and was always happy to change things as the job went along. And expand it did from a simple patio, to a double level one with new grass. The sideway and my front path was also renewed with a different layout plus a lovely smart new gate and patio lighting and a new shed floor, so we certainly put these two guys through the whole gambit of their experience. These changes were always down to ourselves and at no time was any pressure put upon us to spend more. We are extremely pleased with the results and would not hesitate recommending Jeff and Del to anyone needing a garden makeover. Just keep the tea,coffee, biscuits and cold drinks coming and you really will get the best out of these two larger than life characters. I had several quotes for my orignal brief and Jeff's was competative, and we were so glad we chose them as you hear such dreadful workman stories these days.

Geoff and his team were excellent. The patio extension/ lanscaping is suberb quality and constructed exactly to our plan. Geoff was really helpful before starting the project and visited us twice to talk through our plans/ materials etc. He and his coworkers were extremely hard working and skilled. They worked solidly for 2 weeks. They were very neat and left no mess at the end of the project. On a personal note Geoff was extremely trustworthy and good company to have around. We will definitely use Geoff again in the future for any building work.

July 2010. Geoff did a fantastic, good-value tidy and prompt job for us. A drain cover, and supporting frame, in our back garden had rusted through. Geoff replied promptly to job posting and did the job first thing for us the next day. We are very happy indeed with result and can recommend him wholeheartedly for any relevant work you might have in mind.
